Happy 100th Birthday to our very own Stanley Park!
Some of our Synergy pupils were honoured to take part in the ceremonial opening of the Stanley Park Centenary celebrations, marking 100 years since this wonderful park first opened in 1926.
The children of Boundary Primary School and Moor Park Primary School delivered a fantastic choral speaking performance, written especially for the occasion. Their confidence, dedication and enthusiasm shone through, and they were a real credit to themselves and our schools.
This follows last week’s Royal visit from The Duke of Edinburgh, where children from our schools had the wonderful opportunity to meet him and welcome him to Stanley Park.
How lucky are we to have such a beautiful and historic park right on our doorstep?
Here’s to another 100 years of Stanley Park!
