
Synergy Education Trust is seeking views on proposed significant changes to our schools. This consultation is part of our commitment to transparency and community engagement, in line with Department for Education guidance.
We are proposing to
- Extend the age range at The Maple School to include Year 5 pupils and increase numbers to 60.
- To change the temporary 16 place, SEND provision, into a permanent SEND Unit at Stanley Primary School.
- To change the temporary 16 place, SEND provision, into a permanent SEND Unit at Stanley Primary School.
- To change the temporary 24 place, SEND provision, into a permanent SEND Unit at Moor Park Primary School.
These changes are intended to support SEND Provision capacity, across Blackpool.
We are inviting feedback from:
- Parents and carers
- Pupils
- School staff and governors
- Local residents and community groups
- The Local Authority and neighbouring schools
- Other relevant stakeholders
The consultation will run from 28/11/25 to 19/12/25.
