Premises Manager
Contract: Permanent 
Salary: Grade E £28,598 - £31,022 per annum

24 October 2025, 2.57pm Following the retirement of the postholder, we are seeking to appoint a Premises Manager from 1st December, who will play a crucial part in the smooth running of our school, ensuring our buildings and grounds provide a safe, secure and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will manage our site team, oversee all aspects of site maintenance, and take a lead role in health and safety compliance.
We’re looking for someone with:
Experience managing school or similar premises
A strong understanding of health and safety regulations
Excellent organisational and team leadership skills
A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving
A flexible attitude with regard to working hours as some additional hours may be required at certain time of the year, these will be discussed and mutually agreed as and when the need arises.
Highfurlong School is a 2 – 19 Special School Academy in Blackpool with 131 pupils on roll, with a wide range of physical and medical needs and severe and complex learning difficulties.
