Moor Park Primary School is seeking to appoint a permanent full time Premises Manager.

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, conscientious, proactive and self-motivated, who would like a key role in maintaining and developing our school, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole school community.

We can provide:

- Governing Body that are committed to developing all staff and a Health and Safety Governor, with a wealth of premises management knowledge who can offer support
- A commitment to support your professional development with opportunities to undertake further training; e.g.: IOSH, NEBOSH National General Certificate, and other health and safety training
- A proactive school community

Duties will include:
- Overseeing the smooth and efficient running of the school site; covering all aspects of health and safety, site maintenance and supervision of cleaning staff
- Acting as a key holder, locking and unlocking the school and carrying out security checks of the whole site
- Carrying out and recording maintenance checks and maintaining records to a high standard
- Managing external maintenance and service contracts and supervision of contractors whilst on site
- Monitoring site stock, ordering supplies and maintaining associated records
- Carrying out minor repairs, general maintenance and decorating competently
- Undertaking some cleaning duties whilst supervising a small team of school cleaners
- Attending training courses, including health and safety awareness
